Branding & Licensing

As the primary brand ambassador for the University, the Office of Communications and Marketing coordinates various branding and marketing efforts of colleges, departments, and organizations on campus. The guidelines that the Office stewards ensure consistency through logos, colors, typography, and more. In addition, the University works closely with Collegiate Licensing Company, a national firm that represents nearly 200 universities, to promote and protect its identlty.

News & Publications

The Office of Communications and Marketing is responsible for disseminating information about the people, activities and events that contribute to the University's growing reputation as a place that offers academic rigor in an environment known for its hospitality, diversity, Cajun and Creole cultures and Ragin’ Cajun spirit. We rely on many forms of media to connect with a variety of local, state and national audiences.

Digital Communications

The Digital Communications team develops, implements, and oversees electronic communication strategies for the University community. The team maintains the UL Lafayette homepage and the top-level pages of louisiana.edu, as well as the University's official social media accounts. Team members help the University community develop communication strategies, support content management, send messages to the masses, and share the University's brand across the world.
